Urban planner and Deaf activist Amanprit Arnold launched the DeafCity Hub campaign to create or adapt a building in London using DeafSpace architectural principles to provide the UK's first dedicated co-working and cultural space for the Deaf community, where 18 million people experience hearing issues but no dedicated centre currently exists.
This is a campaign and proposal stage, not yet completed. The building and architectural guidelines are under development.
