How Conservationists Are Saving Africa's Most Hated Carnivores

The Endangered Wildlife Trust's African wild dog range expansion program, operating since 1997, has increased the global wild dog population by more than 344 animals in 29 years by reintroducing them to wildlife reserves where they disappeared decades earlier—most recently relocating three female wild dogs from Mozambique to South Africa in a state-of-the-art enclosure designed specifically for the species.
