Forget Recycling. What If We Could Compost or Reuse Everything?

The Cradle to Cradle NGO, co-founded in 2012, operates a 5,000-square-foot headquarters in Berlin built entirely using C2C principles where most components can be composted or reused. The database now lists thousands of products meeting C2C criteria, including modular phones designed for easy repair and Desso carpet tiles that manufacturers take back to recycle.

This is a framework and philosophy; adoption remains limited. The examples are mostly in early stages or niche markets.
