When a Small Garden Starts to Travel

A neglected Victorian walled garden in Stamullen, County Meath, Ireland, transformed into a wildlife haven beginning in 2020 and has since inspired a philosophy called GardeningWell. The project has spread beyond the original garden to schools, Scouts, community groups, and readers across Ireland and abroad, with free materials showing how small spaces can include mini ponds, native plants, wildflowers, and insect habitat.
