Researchers at the University of Manchester and Manchester University NHS Trust developed a non-invasive test using urine and vaginal fluid samples that identified 80 of 99 womb cancers and correctly returned negative results for 93% of cancer-free women in a study of 1,864 women; the test could spare thousands of women from invasive ultrasounds and hysteroscopies.
