North Carolina expands access to donor breast milk for outpatient families

North Carolina families with medically fragile infants can now access pasteurized donor breast milk outside hospital walls through a partnership between the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the WakeMed Mothers' Milk Bank. Outpatient distribution is currently available at two locations, with additional drop-off depots for donors opening in New Hanover and Pitt counties later this year.
