Jon Englund, an Army National Guard veteran and Meadowbrook Golf Club employee unable to play golf due to multiple sclerosis, received a ParaGolfer motorized sports wheelchair after a co-worker spotted one on social media and contacted the Stand Up and Play Foundation to arrange it.
The equipment will benefit other people with mobility challenges at the course; broader access outcomes are not yet measured.
