Latvia has raised grants for solar PV installations to 85% of eligible costs (up from 70%) for large families and families caring for children with disabilities, and increased the minimum supported battery capacity from 5 kWh to 10 kWh, with €20 million of its €85 million budget still available after supporting 15,700 projects including 14,000+ solar installations.
The expanded support applies to households holding Latvia's Goda ģimene family card, a benefit scheme for large families and families with a child with a disability; not all households are eligible.
