Britain's Prince William reveals finalists for Earthshot environmental prize

The Earthshot Prize finalists were announced Friday; 15 organizations advancing environmental solutions were named, including the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative, which has built 204 wildlife crossings and protected 24 million hectares across the Rocky Mountains since 1993, and works with Indigenous peoples, ranchers, and governments to maintain unfettered migration routes for wildlife.

Winners will be announced November 17; these are finalists competing for recognition, not yet victors.
