Bangladesh's green building drive grows beyond factories amid climate pressures

Bangladesh now has 35 certified green buildings and sustainable offices across non-manufacturing sectors, and 290 LEED-certified ready-made garments factories, including 53 of the world's top 100 highest-scoring facilities. Corporations including Unilever Bangladesh are expanding green-certified construction beyond the apparel industry to reduce carbon emissions and create healthier workplaces as temperatures in the country rise.
