Wing Commander Andy Green drove the hydrogen-powered JCB Hydromax to 406.320 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats, setting a new FIA world land speed record and establishing it as the fastest zero-emission vehicle ever built, 28.3 mph faster than the previous diesel record Green set 20 years ago.
