KIT develops hybrid solar system with radiative cooling

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology researchers developed a prototype hybrid system combining photovoltaics and passive radiative cooling that achieved cooling of up to 6.5°C below ambient temperature while simultaneously generating 60.6 W/m² of electrical power and heat temperatures up to 110.8°C from a single surface.
