A synthetic enzyme designed by Revel Pharmaceuticals reduced advanced glycation end products (AGEs) in 75-year-old tissue to levels seen in 30-year-old tissue, reversing damage previously thought irreversible and potentially addressing a hallmark driver of age-related heart disease, diabetes, and kidney and eye problems.
