Multiple Chinese EV battery manufacturers have achieved ultra-fast charging: BYD's Blade 2.0 charges 10-70% in 5 minutes; Geely's Golden Brick in 4 minutes 22 seconds; CATL's consumer battery in 3 minutes 44 seconds (10-80%); and FAW's battery in 3 minutes 41 seconds. These technologies are moving from lab prototypes into production vehicles.
CATL's fastest battery is not yet in a consumer vehicle, only in testing; the others are already deployed or entering production.
